Activities to enhance quality of life: Our Center is the hub for regional recreation of every sort. Come engage in your favorite activities, learn a new sport, or drop in to work out.
In addition to a weekly schedule of group pickleball, 5 days of open pickleball is played both in the gym and on the outdoor courts on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., and Sunday 2-5:00 p.m. with all skill levels welcomed. Saturday 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. open pickleball play welcomes players with a 3.5+ skill level.
The Center has a room dedicated to fitness equipment for cardio, weight lifting and strength training.
Get involved in our community and make a difference. We have a variety of volunteer opportunities available, from organizing events to supporting local causes.
YOGA, YOGA, YOGA, and YOGA!!! Yep, that's right...four different classes scheduled with 3 different instructors. If you are looking for a yoga class, we may just have one that fits your schedule.
First up, Karen Storms-Rohm holds her class on Mondays from 10:00-11:30 a.m. Her class, Women's Yoga for All Abilities, is gentle and therapeutic yoga accessible to all abilities and experience levels. $15-20 per session, or whatever suits your budget.
Later on Monday at 6:00 p.m. is Jenn Ryan's Mindful Movement class, hosted this week by Terri Rosenzweig. An intentional hour with space to breathe, stretch, tune into your body from head to toe, guided with gentle, medium flow yoga poses in mind. Donation based.
And, then, on Wednesday and Saturday from 10:00-11:30 a.m.,
Yoga with Sarah Monarca. Wednesday is Heart-Opening Hatha, on the gentle side of things while Saturday is Hatha Flow Deep Dive. Session costs are on a sliding scale and can be confirmed by texting/calling Sarah at 269.719.6022.
The gym is available for open play on Fridays from 2:00 - 5:00 pm and Sundays from 12:00 - 2:00 pm.
The game room is always available for your use when the Center is open. Come in an play a little ping pong or shoot a little pool! For the younger members of your family the carpeted room has a variety of toys for play!

The Arcadia Branch of the Manistee County Library is open Tuesdays & Fridays 10:30 – 5:00, Thursdays 12:30 -7:00. The Arcadia Branch Library serves as a hub for community events, educational programs, and cultural activities. It stands as a testament to the commitment of the Manistee County Library system in fostering intellectual curiosity and community connection.
Throughout the year a variety of classes are available for people of all ages to take part in life-long learning. Art, cooking, dog training, dancing, and more. There is truly something for everyone!

ABC Book Club welcomes you to join them in the John Miller Room every Tuesday at 9:30 a.m.. They discuss a variety of topics and hold a book discussion on the current book selection on the last Tuesday of each month. Start your Tuesdays with a gathering of neighbors and friends by joining ABC Book Club.
If you are looking for a social activity and enjoy playing cards, we may have what you are looking for.
Thursday evenings from 5:30-8:30 p.m. in the John Miller Room, try your hand (pun intended) at six-handed, bid euchre. It is easy to learn and lots of fun. No need to sign-up, just show up!
Additionally on Thursdays Dominoes for Adults is being played from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. in the library.
Tuesdays and Fridays – 12:30 – 1:30
In collaboration with the Manistee County Council on Aging, we offer nutritious lunches at Lunch In the Valley on Tuesdays and Fridays at 12:30 p.m. in the gym. Grab a friend or neighbor and join others as you share lunch with each other, and perhaps a few stories about your week! Holiday gatherings are great way to bring the community together. We make sure that there is something for people of all ages to enjoy as we celebrate major holidays at the Center.
Endoman Promotions has partnered with our Center for over 10 years to bring the Grit & Gravel Bike Race to Arcadia. Held the 3rd weekend in May each spring, this event brings hundreds of bicyclists to our area.
In each season of the year our Center welcomes artists to submit their artwork of all mediums for inclusion in the show. An opening reception introduces the artists and the art hangs the the gallery space throughout the entire season.
Held each year on the 4th full weekend of July, Arcadia Daze is a celebration the entire community looks forward to. The Center participates with a pickleball tournament and other activities throughout the weekend.
This community gathering happens each year on Halloween, when the Center partners with the Lions Club to invite all of trick-or-treaters and their families to be a part of the festivities at Finch Park.
Throughout the year the Center hosts fundraisers both for the Arcadia Community Center's benefit and for other important causes.
